bongface 2 now on sale
Night of the Bongface II: Revenge of Bongface will be premiering at this year’s Drunken Zombie Film Festival. It’s at the Peoria Theatre and we’re on at 9:15pm. Hope to see you there.
Drunken Zombie is having an Uncle Randy look-alike contest and the winner gets a copy of Murdersaurus Rex. Send them a picture of video dressed and acting in an Uncle Randian style. Best submission wins.

Ben Krow, 1985-2009
Zomtek is sad to announce the untimely loss of member Ben Krow. He was killed in an apparent self-inflicted plane crash to the body. He left no note.
“God called this stockboy up to heaven”
Ben Krow got his start in low-rent filmaking with the well received 2002 adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Great Gatsby entitled Chapter Two. Ben starred as Gatsby’s protagonist, Nick Carraway. Along with bit parts in several independent shorts, Ben went on to be a featured player in the as yet unreleased, Bible Part the Deuce playing the film’s villain as well as many secondary characters. Ben went on to produce, write, and perform in several of Zomtek’s many short features.
But Ben had been reported to be “sullen” and “withdrawn” at the lack of productivity with Zomtek as of late. The stress and disappointment of poorly received script projects was beginning to show cracks in his usual sunny demeanor. As quoted in a January 2009 interview, “I wrote this skit about space aliens at a doctor’s office and it was about space tyrants but was really about the conflict of abortion and all this stuff. And everybody hated it. I spent like 6 hours on that piece of *&%#.”
The future of Zomtek at this point is claimed to be uncertain. There are no current projects scheduled but any future film-making would likely have included Krow. But Zomtek can still hold out for hope as authorities have yet to find Krow’s remains in the wreckage.
But as Ben Krow’s fiancee, Alison, said in a press conference earlier today, “There doesn’t seem to be too many miracles left anymore.”
